ABOUT MONTY MADARIS
Monty is a former American football wide receiver who played at Michigan State University, where he was a three-year letterwinner and contributed significantly as a defensive back and wide receiver. His collegiate achievements include being a Rose Bowl, two-time Cotton Bowl Champion and a two-time Big Ten Champion. He signed with the Cincinnati Bengals as an undrafted free agent in 2017, but his NFL career was cut short due to a hamstring injury.
Transitioning from athletics to finance
Monty began his financial industry career at Western & Southern Financial Group, specializing in life and health insurance. He later joined Matthews Real Estate Investment Services as a capital markets professional, gaining valuable experience working alongside CRE developers and institutional investors. However, the corporate environment did not align with his long-term vision, leading him to establish Mcgregor & Auburn Holdings in 2023—a firm dedicated to strategic investment, financial innovation, and sustainable business growth.
Monty's leadership is defined by meticulous financial strategy, investor negotiations, and a deep understanding of market dynamics. His ability to navigate high-stakes financial decisions while maintaining a forward-thinking vision has positioned him as a strategic player in the investment space.
Education
His educational foundation includes a degree in Sociology from Michigan State University, where he balanced academic rigor with athletic excellence. Before MSU, he attended Archbishop Moeller High School, one of the nation’s premier institutions, earning induction into the 2023 Gerry Faust Hall of Fame for his accomplishments.
